Thanks to all who have replied so far.
Last night I looked at a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1
(http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-11-3147-laptop/pd?oc=fncwr1203sddr&l=en&s=dhs),
which is about the size I want, though I don't care much about the
touchscreen. I don't know if it falls in the Linux-friendly Dell
professional line or, if it does not, what the differences might be that
would make Linux installation difficult. Does anyone have experience
with that system, or know enough about it to make a judgement?
