Hi,
I use Netscape 4.[56]x (Win95) with diald without problem. The magic is
'Offline Mode.' Always start Netscape 4+ in offline mode. You can do
*anything* locally in this mode. Now, when you want to go online just
click a plugs icon at lower-left conner. Remember to change it back to
offline (click that icon again) before closing Netscape. Netscape 4.5+
remember previous online/offline status.
I don't know if this can apply to Linux version or not. My Linux box is
DX2-80 and I don't want to bother it with Netscape. :-)
