We tested this conf with both dinamic and static ip address, It'is the
IP address of the ippp interface and the point-to-point address of the
peer, with a dynamic ip we set it to a private address with a fixed ip
they are the real numbers on the internet...
basically the thing I was discussing with Mike...

Showing some interest from you I repakaged the file with
- more comments
- the phone rates filter separated from the standard filter (if someone
compiles a rate filter for another country than italy I'll include
it...)
- some better and easier config keys

and uploaded a little (very little) web page at
http://www.logx-srl.com/diald.html where you can get the new files

Perhaps with help from you and other "diald  guys" we can start a diald
configuration site or an howto to help many newbies asking question on
this mailing list.
