Not sure if this is diald or ppp-2.3.10 that comes with RH61, but
I'm getting the following errors when I try to activate ppp with
diald and with "ifup ppp0"
Oct 8 12:17:32 localhost pppd[9589]: The remote system (ppp0) is required to
authenticate itself but I
Oct 8 12:17:32 localhost pppd[9589]: couldn't find any suitable secret (password) for
it to use to do so.
Oct 8 12:17:32 localhost ifup-ppp: pppd started for ppp0 on /dev/modem at 115200
This error repeats over and over. My /var/log/messages file gets
quite large. My /etc/diald/connect script looks like
#!/bin/sh
#/sbin/ifup ppp0
/sbin/ppp-watch ifcfg-ppp0
ifup and ppp-watch produces the same output. BTW, I'm using diald 0.99.1.
