I have had diald running for a couple of months but have
just recently moved the diald over to a 'server' rather
than running it on my laptop. I use wwwoffle for my web
proxy and dont have any problem with any of that working.
But have yet to setup a way to use telnet and ftp on
the laptop to where it gets me out on the ppp link through
diald. I notice the proxyarp command for diald but when I added
it to the diald.conf file all I get logged is
'Can not determine ethernet address for proxy arp'
Is proxyarp even what I want to use to accomplish this?
With my current setup when I attempt to ping/telnet/ftp
out from the laptop all I get are
ping: sendto: Network is unreachable
I have been logging on to my server when I need to actually
do a direct ftp but will really like to get it working from
the other machines on my local net.
