I had actually tried that before I posted the question but it didn't seem
to work.

ie. I tried

        wilsonf dyn143 @/etc/ppp/persisp-pw
        wilsonf geordi @/etc/ppp/worknet-pw

And then tried to dial my personal ISP (ie. persisp-pw) but it failed to
authenticate due to password error.

Of course it could be that I got the server name wrong. What I did to
obtain that was dial my ISP just using pppd and noticed that a routing
entry was added for:

        ppp82.dyn143.pacific.net.au

I assumed perhaps erroneously that dyn143 was the host (server) I was
connected to.

Any other suggestions ?

By the way, can anyone elaborate on the usage of the /etc/ppp/peers
directory thats in RH 6.1 ? I'm a bit vague about it's use.

PS. Tim I don't know what mail mail client you use but your mail is very
painful to read since it comes through as an attachment.
