Greetings--
My contact at WinSystems tells me that Sandisk has just about
completely broken the IDE interface and that's why you and I can't get
our Sandisks to have a happy master/slave relationship under any
circumstances.
My strategy for propagating installations is to use a boot/root
disk
combination that supports ethernet, and then I install my own
distribution from another server. I'd rather just cat /dev/hda >
/dev/hdb but /dev/hdb is invisible, as you say.
There are other CF vendors; my understanding is that at least
some of
them will support master/slave configurations. Anybody have any
experience with other brands of CF?
