Well, one of our friends here suggest Etlinux and LEM. I have not tried it, so I don't know. Since you and I are dealing with DiscOnChip and has limited memory, why don't we use busybox utility and build our custom bootable application. So far I have read 3 articles from Bruce Perens, it helps me understand linux alot better. He explains how to use busybox to boot linux and add our application. Here is the linked http://embedded.linuxjournal.com/magazine/issue02/4528 . This is the article #3, but in it it will tell you where to go to get the articles 1 and 2. Also, articles by Jay Sissom use busybox to build his own custom web server and is the linked http://embedded.linuxjournal.com/magazine/issue03/4551 . I still have not select my choice of application. I probably might as well doing the !
same thing because I'm also dealing with DiskOnChip to boot my application and it requires us to create its root filesystem.
