I just subscribed to this list, and I want to reply to guillaume prevost.
I found a very easy embedded linux distribution at www.peeweelinux.org.
Unlike other distros, this one is menu-driven, and usually, it only takes
one day or two to get a runnable system, without much Linux knowledge (the
worse is the DiskOnChip boot stuff...). You will need RedHat 6.2 as your
host system.
I have it running on a 4Mb RAM PC104 board.
Let me know if you need some more advice (in French?).
