Ah, I think I also got that a bit wrong ;)
However, when I follow this discussing, I thinks its better to wait, until 
everything is settled, and I'll see in which part each piece of the software 
ends up. then I'll again think about the openbsd ports again.
I also just got a port of openais 0.80.2 ready to compile and install. Never 
used it before, but I just thought, when the linux-ha gets splitted, then it 
would be nice to make sure, the parts that could work with openais will be 
able to do so. So after reading openais_overview(8), I think there is no 
need to hurry, as the man page states itself as under development and not 
yet production ready, (see the BUGS section).
So, whatever comes out here, I'm trying to be prepared ;)
