        Hi,

    i got this problem during kernel compiling:

as86 -0 -a -o bootsect.o bootsect.s
make [1]: as86: Command not found
make [1]: *** [bootsect.o] Error 127
make [1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot'
make [1]: *** [zImage] Error 2

    I have tried this with kernel 2.0.36 and 2.0.34 with same result.
Recently i did it several times without any problems on the same PC and
linux. I'm running
Red Hat 5.1 at P200mmx with 32mB ram.

    Can anybody help?
