We are trying to setup linux internet gateway, this gateway is connected
to packet radio net via
dual port ( 1k2 a 9k6 ) Baycom USCC card. The kernel is 2.0.36 with ax
utils 2.1.42a and SCC driver 2.4c

The problem is, that SCC driver still freezes the system. When this
happens, it is not possible to do anything, only cold reset.

Second PC connected to the same ethernet segment receives sometimes
bogus size packets after gateway crash.

I tried to define DISABLE_ALL_INTS ( i found it in some message to
linux-hams from dl1bke )
but it doesn't help.

When I recompile the kernel without scc driver, it seems to be stable.

I also noticed, that there are many RX errors on device SCC0, but I
don't think this is the reason of crash.

Does anyone have similar problem ? Or is there any possibility how to
fix it ?
