Hello all.

I've a problem with the SCC setup after upgrading to kernel 2.0.36
patched with axutils2.41a and z8530drv2.4c from kernel 2.0.33 and
z8530drv2.2. (Yes, I know, many changes together and silly me to delete
the old sources!)

The SCC board is a four port one from IK5NAX NSCC1.2 that is working
fine with jnos and its internal 1K2 modem to make ax25 connections.

-The system is a 486dx2-66MHz with 16M ram
-kernel 2.0.36, ax25utils2.41a, z8530drv2.4c
-board NSCC 1.2 from IK5NAX like (PE1PET or PA0HZP without opto)
with i/o 150 and irq5 both certainly free.
-The z8530 chips installed are zilog 6MHz NMOS parts.
-NO IOCHKRDY signal are used in this board, althought I defined
SCCDELAY in scc.c and also slowed down the ISA bus in setup to 33/6
-I modified the board to use the SYSCLOCK to synchronize /WR /RD signals
so it's functionally equivalent to a PE1PET board.
-I built the z8530drv for_kernel.
-The board works fine with jnos in DOS 6.22

My problem is that after to compile and boot with the new kernel
sccinit do nothing. Before I could see the board found ok with dmesg
but now there isn't any message(to say that the board are found or not,
nothing) nor the board are initialized. Only there is in dmesg the
info of z8530drv being loaded during boot.

I even deleted the /sbin/sccinit and the one in the /usr/src/z8530
and rebuilt, and after going totally mad deleted also /etc/z8530.conf
to hear how sccinit will complaint about missing his config file.
Nothing, sccinit do nothing, say noting. ;-(

So, please where must I look, or what you'll need to know about my
configuration to help me to make it work?
