Best of my knowledge
I executed;
/usr/sbin/mkiss -s 9600 /dev/ttyS0 /dev/ptyq0 /dev/ptyq1
/usr/sbin/kissattach -i 44.xx.xx.xx -m 512 /dev/ttyq0 1
/usr/sbin/kissattach -i 44.xx.xx.xx -m 512 /dev/ttyq1 2
# /etc/ax25/axports
#
# The format of this file is:
#
# name callsign speed paclen window description
#
1 WJ3G-9 9600 255 2 145.010 MHz (1200 bps)
2 WJ3G-10 9600 255 2 145.670 MHz (1200 bps)
everything looks good except no activity to and from tnc.
Now just for fun I installed a modem on serial port 2. It also appears to
work, but It appears I can't send any commands to the modem from the minicom
console. Yet when launching minicom the terminal ready light comes on.
Hope this answers some questions.
