Hello, Everyone.
I have found this list to be very helpful and after reading for a few
years
I thought I'd toss out some questions:
I have fiddled with AX.25 before from DOS and I'd like to try using my
BAYCOM
modem with Caldera OpenLinux using kernel 2.0.35 but I have some
novice-style
questions.
I am unsure about using modules to support the BAYCOM modem -- although
I see
it can be loaded as a module where will I find a HOW-TO on it's
configuration?
Would it be better to use modules or should I consider a monolithic
kernel --
Are there any advantages in terms of speed or reliability?
Is there a URL for more current information on how to go about setting
up
a packet station using eith AX.25 and/or tcp/ip that I can get to?
