The above sentence proves that you know _nothing_ about what you are
talking about. Which of course was nothing new to us... You won't get it,
I'm sure, and you'll probably send an obscure mail to the list trying to
prove otherwise.

And if you fucking asshole would care to take a look, there is no file
/boot/modules-2.2.5-15 in your system (unless you created one) but that
/boot/module-info is a symbolic link to what is in fact something like
what I described above. It seems to list some of the modules, classify
them (eth, scsi_hostadapter, etc.), list the services they provide (eg.
char-major-xx) and the options the module in question takes.
I already said that I don't know what all this file is used on Red Hat for
but I definitely can say that it doesn't need to be touched to build a new
kernel.
BTW. what the fuck is "sim-link" and what is Red Hat 2?

Karl, I am one of the AX.25 utilities authors, and also I am the
maintainer of the kernel NET/ROM code. Wouldn't you think I use the new
utils every day? Just today I merged abt. _3000_ lines of C code I have
done over the years (some of it was contributed by others, of which I
hereby state my greatest gratitude) to the new utils and sent a patch to
Craig. Do you think I would have done this if I thought that you in your
great wisdom are anyway going to question my knowledge of the state of
AX.25 in Linux?
If you'd be able to give reasonable critisism and valid suggestions for
improving the utils we'd all be happy to receive it. For some strange
reason you haven't been able to do that, ever. On the other hand I dont
doubt at all you'd the first one to tell Linus Torvalds what all is wrong
with his stupid excuse of an operating system...
No one is trying to say that everything is perfect under Linux, but there
is a difference in giving reasonable feedback and whining...
