Thanks for the response.
Seems like your experiences mostly parallel mine.
I used the "new" rpm's and had it somewhat working, but as you said, no
config files. I tried the "new" tar'd stuff, but could never get them to
compile. I assume that means I'm missing something again. I am trying to do
this with a minimum system, and keep running into problems with missing
libraries and such.
Were you using the "new" rpm's or the 2.1.42a-3 versions?
I'll give your suggestions a try, but not sure if that's a good test. This
thing is so screwed up now I may have to start all over.... again....
