My apologies to anyone who was offended by my original posting.

I sometimes forget that sarcasm is considered by many a poor form of
humour, and also that sarcasm may be easily lost to someone who is not a
native speaker of the language it is written in.

My point was that Linux is Linux and DOS is DOS "and never the twain
shall meet" (I hope).

Also my point is that some on the list should give the maintainers a
break. I think that they have got their hands full as it is, and more
than likely it takes a great deal of their personal time and they do a
terrific job!

It seems to me that if someone want's a particular feature that is better
suited to the DOS operating system, than the best way to get it is either
run DOS with a bpq interface to Linux or to write it themselves.

It seems a little obnoxious, to say the least, to say or infer that the
maintainers of the AX25 code in Linux are being thoughtless for not 
incorporating old DOS programs' features.

Just my .02

And again, my sincerest apologies to all who mis-understood the original.
