On a vaguely-related note, is there any software around which allows
you to easily transmit UI frames? Not regular things like a beacon
(/usr/sbin/beacon works fine), but normal text, like CONV mode while
disconnected on a TNC2. We often use it to chat via MIR down here
in VK, but I haven't found out a way to do with with kernel AX.25.
