Hello,

I'm using xfbbd 7.01d with its associated xfbbC client under a Debian
2.1, 2.2.13 kernel.

I'm experiencing a problem with xfbbC that i can reproduce whenever i
want.

When i start a chat with a user connected to FBB, with '=F1CAY', the
concole gets completely corrupted. Characters become unreadable and it
remains in this state even when leaving xfbbC and logging out from that
console. I mean, there are characters, but they're not displayed as
normal letters but as strange symbols that are mixed with a few readable
normal letters.

It just remains unusable and haven't found yet how to restore it until i
reboot the machine which does not happen so often.

Another example happened this morning. I've been logging the activity on
the DxNet cluster through an internal connection with 'call' utility. I
appended this file to a message i typed on FBB console with xfbbC. When
i wanted to review this message before sending it, as soon as the
appended file started to be displayed, the terminal got corrupted as
i've just described.

I suspect something related with non printable characters such as ^G at
the end of dx spots lines.

My /etc/inputrc (i don't use per user ~/.inputrc files) only containes
these 2 lines :

set input-meta on
set output-meta on

This problem also happens when remotely connecting with xfbbC from an
xterm console.

Does anyone know which setting i could alter not to have my terminal
corrupted.

Thanks for your attention.
Alex.
