Use Lilo. Do a "man lilo" for information. I have Win95, WinNT and Linux
on the same computer here, I put lilo on the boot partition of the first
IDE drive and it has worked reliably for over a year. Optionally you can
put lilo onto a floppy (and boot into any of your three operating
systems). I do that as a backup.

Note that you may not get Dos or Win to boot if the start of its
partition is more than 2GB into the drive. I suggest Dos as the first
partition (as you probably want least space for it, then Win98 (but this
must start before 2GB into the drive). On one computer here, linux does
not start until 6GB into the drive so the 2GB restriction only applies
to MS operating systems. I think this is because at boot time MS only
recognises FAT16 filesystem not FAT32.
