Cosmin:

You cannot boot both SIMULTANEOUSLY, and Linux is resolving the conflict
by choosing the first one. You can set any to boot by default, or invoke
the lilo options pressing Left Shift and ?, and then, make your choice.
Slow down, take it easy and read the lilo docs (assuming you are using
LILO and not some other boot manager),
