Yes, it is there. You did not read wrong.

Yes, it is ready compiled in the Powertools collection. The
Deluxe version is not on sale in Greece, so I had to download
it from their FTP site.
You just install the appropriate packages, configure the AX.25
ports and KISS interface and you are ready to connect to
other stations.
Of course, the kernel must be compiled with AX.25 support, KISS
etc.
