Hi!
I have this problem which has been bugging me for quite some time now..
(>3months). Finally I decided to post it on the list. Here it goes:
I set up two soundblasters (modems) on two computers. When I wanted
to test it with a cross-wired audio cable (no radio RTX) it just
didnt work.
When I run a packet thru sm0 I can measure it with an oscilloscope.
It looks pretty nice. But the computer on the other side just does not
respond! I have tried all modulations..
I wanted to fine tune the i/o levels with smmixer/smdiag but smdiag
didnt work for me. The screen was always blank with a straight horizontal
line (one pixel wide). I tried all command line options but at the end I
gave up and tuned the output level with an oscilloscope. I tried several
settings for input level but it still didnt work.
I also did NOT specify PTT... Is it necessary in my case?
I'm using 2.0.38, AWE64, AWE32, P/133, P2/233, axtools-2.1.42 ...
