Hi Jim.

First question: Which way round are you referring to - tab up or
tab down?

Official Commonly found
> 1. white/orange white/brown
> 2. orange/white brown/white
> 3. white/green white/blue
> 4. blue/white green/white
> 5. white/blue white/green
> 6. green/white blue/white
> 7. white/brown white/orange
> 8. brown/white orange/white
Whilst those on the left are the official colours, they often get
ignored and the colours I've put on the right used instead. I
rarely worry what colours are used on a particular lead, and
worry far more about whether the right wires are used in each
pair.

For reference, the pairs used for Token Ring are 3&6 one way and
4&5 the other - as far as I know, 7&8 aren't used for anthing...

Out of curiosity, where is "bring it along tonight" referring to?
