Greetings folks, just got my dsl connection yesterday and I was
hoping to port the Linux server, which runs ax25-utils, over to the
dynamic account. I run RH 6.1 and have the dhcpd installed for the
second NIC interface, which is configured as the outside interface. I
have taken a stab at configuring ipchains to masquerade all internal
machines too that interface. where I am confused, now is where do I put
in the authentication data for username/password ? I make use of diald
on another system and have pap-secrets in the /etc/ppp dir. Is there
such a format for dhcpd (maybe the /etc/dhcpc dir.?). Looking for a
site to help me configure the setup. Someone mentioned one but I lost
the email. I could use some help as there really is no Gateway to point
to during the negotiation other than the multicast portion 224.0.0.0.
I have some more work to do on the rc.ipchains script to add the
slattach port for the Jnos/Tnos application and the 44 domain IP's.
