You seem to be really cool.

Next time, I go to my local hospital and ask them to assist me in
repairing my radio:

"Come on guys, I am a PHYSICIAN, and I am into radios and
electronics so where is a more obvious place to find help than from
others that shre a common interest."

And:

1. I sometmes use Band Aid to isolate the wires in my circuits so why not ask
in the hospital for some help regarding my radio valves.

You had a newbie problem. That did not necessarily mean that you are a newbie
yourself but commonly newbies happen to face problems of that kind more often
than others. So why not look around there?

> I have mearly had a problem with my configuration and wanted some help with

See above. You can't expect that somebody who happend to share ONE interest
with you will necessarily share all the others with you, too.

Just imagine that a lot of people here are satisfied with console programs
like call and listen and therefore do not need to fiddle around with KDE at
all.

From that point of view, it is far more likely that you get the help you want
in other areas since, maybe, the people there are facing these problems every
day.

> So, there, I am over it now, and will ALWAYS ask for and offer

Why don't you (and a lot of others) refuse to understand? All we ask you is
to kindly THINK a bit before selecting an area for asking your questions and
then, hopefully, that you select the right one.

Cheers, 73
