Another question then.
I'm working in embedding environment and size on disk is precious resource.

I want user to be able to configure appropriate timezone.
Directory /usr/share/zoneinfo (compiled files) takes something around 4.5
Mb.
I thought to compile needed file on-the-fly from source but you're telling
me
that it takes around 16 Mb compressed :(.
What can I do ?
Of course I can make "TZ=GMT+xx ; export TZ" but I loose this way
daylight savings...
