How do I input hebrew characters in explorer running inside cross

Using the regular X input method shows gibberish and isn't recognized as
hebrew by explorer as far as I can tell.

I have a ticket open on this for ALL MS apps under cxoffice+SuSE 9.0. I'll post the results to the list if and when the problem is solved.

First, I somewhat doubt (though not entirely) that Micha's problem is related to the problem in Office. Assuming it is, however, the problem won't be solved any time soon, unless something changes.

Let me explain, and add an appology.

Wine has keyboard detection code, due to some Win32 requirements. This code is currently unable to cope with the keyboard layout changing midoperation. As such, you are actually doomed to use type either Hebrew or English at any given invokation of the programs.

In the past, I have estimated the work required to fix this at about a week's worth. CodeWeavers have made it clear to me that they will help me with advise all I'll need, but are highly not likely to get around to this problem any time soon.

Unfortunetly, between forming my own business and stuff, I have not had the free time to get this problem solved myself. As such, I now present the list with two options, and I do believe these are the only two possible venues that will lead to this problem going away.
1. Either someone else from here takes this task up. I am willing to help with anything that is required. The cause of the problem has already been identified. Codeweavers have already placed some of the infrastructure into Wine. We merely need someone to get the actual work done.
2. Or we can try to raise money and sponsor my work on this. The best way to do that is to form a fund managed by Hamakor, and to people to give money. I can come up with a fixed price estimate for this effort. People will donate money to Hamakor, under the explicit condition that this money is only used for this task (legal under the NPOs law in Israel, so long as that task is inline with the NPO's bylaws). We set up an expiration time. If the set mark is not reached within, say, four months, I decide whether I'm willing to make do with the sum already there. If I don't, this money is released for Hamakor to do with it as it sees fit. This is, essentially, a bounty.

To waylead some of the obvious questions that should arise here, I'll mention the following points:
1. I'm BCCing Hamakor's lawyer to make sure this offer is indeed legal, and does not constitute conflict of interests.
2. I will not be a board member, and thus not in control over this money, begining Feb 15th. As such, and to avoid any hint of a conflict of interests, I suggest that this scheme only go into play after that date, if it does at all.
3. All of my suggested work is aimed at Wine, a free software tool under the LGPL, and not specifically CrossOver Office, which is a proprietary one. However, if Wine supports it, so will CXOffice.

I, for emotional reasons, would prefer that this bounty take place through Hamakor. However, if people feel uneasy about money control, this bounty can also take place through the Wine fund, with similar rules. Note, however, that the Wine fund is less likely to be time limited on the one hand, and is less law regulated on the other (as the Wine fund is not a legal entity, which Hamakor is). Also, the Wine fund is handled through PayPal, which means that there is some commission.

On the plus side, I believe that going through the Wine fund is VAT free, which means more of the money is actual net money.

Lastly - an appology. The question of whether it's ok to use this list for promoting monetary sponsorship of free software projects have never came up before, and I am thus setting a precedance here by action. If such emails are unacceptable, please let me know.
