Tsafrir Can you elaborate how this is different from cygwin itself? Cygwin offers both an X server and ssh. And you can choose to install only the components you are interested in. Why something special? Why putty and not openssh (from cygwin itself)? What are the advantages? FWIW I use cygwin to open ssh/X connections to remote Linux computers from Windows from time to time.
