I run linux on an ACI laptop and have, at various times, posted about the
problems and solutions (if I know them) here.
Config: Pentium, 3 GB HDD, 32 MB RAM, separate floppy and CD drives, in built
modem, D-Link DE 660 PCMCIA Ethernet card etc.
RHL 6.0, stock installation.
Status: Everything except sound works. X display is good enough for me.
Once had to reinstall everything because of a win 98 problem. Never had any
windows version in since then, and that was the end of all my problems.
Right now trying to get the Xircom Realport REM 56G-100 Ethernet/Modem card
working. It doesn't work in windows, but does with recent versions of
pcmcia-cs.
