I bought the corel linux chip cd (march) today and staright away started
the installation. But to my regret i found that the installation did boot
off the cd but took so long and didnot recognise my logitech mouse.
Moreover, i gave it a 590mb partition (2nd pri. part.) and 20mb swap space
(even though it never suggested it needed one.). Next i selected all the
files in custom installation and asked it to start but the installer just
diplays "Preparing initial setup..." or something similar and keeps
writting to the disk for more than half and hour (at 1% itself!).
Next i did the same thing but selected only one single package to instal.
this time it went on well but when i started corel linux it says
"configuring hardware.." and just stops there while writting to the hard
disk infrequently (i waited to more than 25 min. )
I have a pentium 100 with 32 mb ram and 2.1 gb hdd. Can someone tell me
how to get the installation up and running ?
