I think I already answered this, when Rohit raised it,
its simply impossible to see anything without a
display card. the framebuffer only provides an
abstraction layer, using the VESA 2.0 standard. U can
do away with the display card by running Linux over a
serial line, but the framebuffer has nothing to do
there. The framebuffer has all to do with a gfx card
installed in u're machine.
