he is entitled. sorry for that. but what about
binaries? isn't trying them out kinda easy? i dunno...
i neva tried NE of them out... ;-)

everyone has to start somewhere... ya i do agree linux
isn't exactly the easiest OS for the newbie, but i
think X contributes a LOT of the easiness which is
present now, and it just got better with XFree86 4.0.
Its still not perfect. But it is a step in the right
direction. I feel that people, atleast home users,
who're not the "get the work done" type, should
explore new avenues...

i dunno on some other mail lists and news groups, i am
on, newbies are equally inquisitive if a new version
comes out. Atleast i found a LOT of newbies, who were
craving for this release, as it allowed the simple
thing of doing OpenGL in a window. Sometimes the
minutest of features looks like a boon to all. 

Maybe i'm getting carried away with my "Linux Rulez"
attitude... so i think i should just lay off...
