arre yaar, hamara bhi naseeb koi khas nahi hai... I've
got a Banshee which runs gleefully in doze, but hangs
in Linux, cuz Linux makes it run faster, and the chip
burns out. I've even got a fan on to pif it, but stil
the same results. I've contacted all the gurus 'round
the world - gurus at 3dfx (Daryll Straus himself),
gurus at slashdot, gurus at MIT, heck, i think
"everywhere" kinda puts the dot on it. I dont think
anyone here can help me but ah well, if someone can
help me out in the manner of telling me the different
ways i can cool down a chip. i've got a fan over it,
but i think my next try would be a floor-fan next to
it or sumthing... ;) I'd also apreciate if someone
could tell me how to make my Linux X server run
slower, and give slower commands to my poer gfx card.
I own a PIII-450 with 64MB RAM. I i desperately wanna
slow down my X server... contrary to other's pleas...
;-)
Nikhil.
