I have celeron 466 with 256 mb ram
At boot time my ram counting shows me 256mb of ram
But in file /etc/meminfo and in kde->systeminfo the mem size only 64 mb is
shown by system.
Also the speed is not so fast according to 256 as it should be.
We follow some test and the results are these.
We change the hd from one m/c to other (celeron 466) but here shows 256.
We simply check our other linux system which also shows the 256 mb ram.
What we conclude is we do not have supported bios / motherboard.
The problem is the ram count at boot time shows the 256 mb ram but linux
uses only 64mb.
pls guide me what should i do my entire oracle8i server is running on it
and it is not affordable for me to shut it down.
Pls guide me gurus
Kunal
