Hi Jayanth,

when u check out K6, take care to see if it is K6-2 or K6-III. K6-2 is 
supposed to be opposite to P-II but at the same clock speeds, P-II is a far 
better performer than K6-2. P-III is supposed to be equivalent to a K6-III 
but K6-III doesnt show a good performance in processer intensive tasks 
(even when it has the 3D-Now! instuction set). But if u really got lots of 
money to spend, go for AMD's Athlon (say) 700 Mhz. combined with 128MB RAM 
and a good 3dfx card (S3-Savage 4), your system will fly ! personally I 
dont believe in getting the fastest chip in the market (thats y i use a 
celeron 433) but RAM is important (get at least 128M).
