Dunno how, but why don't you download the latest tarball of the 
manpages from http://linuxdoc.org and stick them in u're Windows 
partition?? The whole collection of manpages will not come to more 
than 0.5 mb

BeOS 5 personal edition will not interfere with mbr, it is just like 
another application installed under win. 
The BeOS 4.5 professional edition does overwrite the mbr only if you 
want it to. You have the choice to either use the BeOS boot 
manager,(which IMHO, is a lot more colourful) or you might add BeOS 
to LILO.
