Hi Shanker,

I have installed alsa package from SuSE 6.3 CD. Since it is one RPM file I think libs, 
drivers
and utilities will be of the same version.

rajesh@rajesh:~ > rpm -qa | grep alsa 
alsa-0.4.1d-4 


I will save the settings using aumix and then see the results and let you know.
