hi
I am using mandrake 7.1. it comes preinstalled with imwheel for
intellimouse. my problem is that if i login as root, the intellimouse
works for netscape but not for xmms. otherwise if i login with a normal
user, it works for xmms and not for netsacpe. what should i do to make it
work for both. at the moment i have manually run imwheel in a terminal for
it to run again(with a loss in resources with a copy of it also running).
secondly, whenever i change the gnome setting like desktop icons, xmms
setting , they are not saved. i changed an icon for an application on the
desktop, but when i login again it reverts back to itsold self. i also
tried saving gnome setting at the logout prompt, but it didnt help.
please help
