hi list
untarred the jdk and jsdk2.0 is not there in jdk1.2.2, so i will have to
download it again. the problem at the moment is occuring with using the
thin oracle jdbc driver(level 4). i had downloaded the .zip files from
oracle's site and unzipped them to $HOME/oracle
and i add the CLASS_PATH as
CLASS_PATH = $HOME/oracle/jdbc/driver
export CLASS_PATH
java returns error when i try to establish connx with a database
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException : oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
when the CLASS_PATH is set and the required class is there in
$HOME/oracle/jdbc/driver directory, what could be the problem ?
would appreciate our help very much ...
