hi list
when installing RH6.1 have taken the option of http server , so everytime
i log in , i have httpd daemon running , showing owner as 'nobody'. now i
am building apache after downloading the source, after
apachectl start
ps aux | grep httpd
shows httpd run by 'nobody' ( lots of processes) and one httpd process
being run by root . i want to remove this 'nobody' processes so that
this httpd daemon is not started next time i log in. how to remove this ?
would appreciate your replies ..
