Hi,
I would suggest using ApacheJServ, downloadable from
http://java.apache.org
for the Servlet engine. ApachJServ is available as a tarball & a rpm.
Get apache going, install jdk & set the path to the "java" binary.
Install the JServ rpm & restart apache. A set of instructions are
thrown up telling you how to check the installation.
The current version(and last release) of ApachJServ is 1.1.2. All
further releases and development will be under Tomcat. For the
moment I would recommend that you stick with ApacheJServ for
production grade use.
