hi,
Nearly every time i start my machine running redhat 6.1 it tells me that a
certain partition exitited with certain signal.it asks for root password for
maintenance.this happens despite proper shutdown done (by typing halt as
root before powering off).
when i do a check by entering
(it is not mounted)
e2fsck -f /dev/hdd7 no errors are reported.
can i solve this problem by making changes in my /etc/fstab file? (changing
the sequence of mounting patitions etc)Why does this happen when I boot the
machine?
What should I do to get the machine up after this message ?
rgds,
mdavid
