I don't see any sane reason why anyone should *want* to have more than 1
extended partition (Other than to test which operating systems will break
when confronting such an animal). In my opinion it's downright dangerous.
The linux partition numbering scheme would break for instance. hda5 onwards
refer to logical drives in the extended partition - where will you start
numbering the drives in a second extended partition ? (if you create one by
directly editing the partition table). Assuming that it will start with the
next available number after the set of drives in the first extended
partition, what happens if one removes (or adds) a logical drive in the
first partition ?
