No. You have to separate the CD filesystem from the root of the tree
(also called unmounting ;)). This has to be done manually.

You could write a script to do that though, but you can't use the eject
button.

#! /bin/bash

#Unmount cdrom and eject drive.
umount /mnt/cdrom #(or whatever mountpoint)
eject
