Hi
I was following an article from June PCQ about fine tuning HDD. I am
using 4 GB HDD and running 6.2 (PCQ). When I have enabled DMA of my HDD
using hdparm -d1 /dev/hda and if I run hdparm -Tt to check the result, the
system reboots. Is this because my ide chipset of my mother board does not
support DMA enable for my HDD?
Thanks in advance
sangunni
