With me, that never happened in windows. When I had Celeron 400, my mobo used to check
keyboard randomly and keyboard then used to lock up for 15-20 minutes. Again that never
happened in Windows.
It seems that sometimes lazy hardware does not like a hard working superior... :-)))
BTW, to my observation IDE, bus throughput depends a lot on cables. I have seen my HDD
throughput going from 8 to 10 MBPs when I changed my cable. Ever since I put a new
cable to
CDROM, I barely receive any 'drive seek errors'. The CDROM throughput is almost
doubled.
Sure earlier CDROM cable was fauly beyond imagination...
