Hi,
Sorry for the delay - but this happened to me y-day; that was when I was
playing with hdparm settings in my rc.local.
This happened when my hdparm setting read:
/sbin/hdparm -c3 -d1 -X34 /dev/hda/sbin/hdparm -c3 -d1 -X34 /dev/hda
(hda being my hard disk device)
I changed it to
/sbin/hdparm -c1 -d1 -k1 -m16 -a128 /dev/hda
and we lived happily ever after. I guess this happens when this settign
conflicts with your hardware. So if u think your hdd is not dma capable
comment out the hdparm parameter in your rc.local.
