Do try to keep the linux /boot partition within the first 1024 cylinders
of the hard disk. Do reserve some space of the first 1024 cylinders for
that. I think you have allocated first 16GB to windows. This might be the
problem and also a drawback of Linux(or rather say the BIOS) that bootable
partitions has to be within first 1024 cylinders. If I am wrong pl. do
correct me.
